Paul C. Foley

Partner

Overview

As the managing partner of his former law firm, Paul knows that success takes consistency, collaboration, and clarity. He takes that same approach to the boardroom, the courtroom and the court of public opinion, working with his clients to identify their goals and chart the path ahead.

Paul has worked many sides of the legal table, from general counsel, to litigator, to transaction counsel. As he describes it: “I have clients, and they call me – they call me about anything.”

As general counsel and transaction counsel to new and established businesses, Paul handles issues from the mundane (supply/service contracts, etc.) to the extraordinary (mergers and acquisitions) and is uniquely qualified to use courtroom techniques – risk management, negotiation, and persuasion – to inform his business practice.

As a litigator, Paul has handled a breadth of matters impacting families, businesses, and individuals, in state and federal courts. He is also a trusted appointee from both state and federal judges to handle real estate and other assets for purposes of management or liquidation.

Prior to joining Mirick, Paul was Managing Partner at Mountain, Dearborn & Whiting LLP
